We happened up on this our 1st day in Pike market and what a great coffee shop! I had the Turmeric signature coffee with macadamia nut milk and it was the best ever. My nephew had the surprise signature flavored coffee and he loved it! The wait staff was so nice to everyone.

My mind and taste buds have been blown! I can now never have coffee anywhere else I had ordered a mystery mocha and once I took a sip of it I had to sit down, finish it, and order another drink because I could not believe how amazing it tasted. This is truthfully the best coffee I have ever had in my life and personally I think it should be the face of Seattle’s coffee promotion. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! they will not disappoint!

So today I was walking around Seattle for the first time, I was feeling rather peckish and wanted some coffee and I saw this amazing place. First thing that caught my eye was the name it’s just so unique and out there it makes me want to try it. The shop is a bit small but the coffee is amazing. I got the mystery mocha (I know what’s in it, most people can’t figure it out!) anyway it was extremely good it wasn’t to hot to where I burnt my tongue it was just hot enough to enjoy which I loved. The barista was nice and fun to talk with. I would recommend this coffee shop to everyone it is by far the best coffee I have had.

This may be the best hidden espresso place in Seattle. I love to stop and try coffee at random small coffee shops and have tried dozens in Seattle - you can almost tell by the smell when you walk through the door that this place brews a great latte.

I loved this quaint coffee shop hidden below the market. We were with a group and while most waited in the huge line at Starbucks, I’d prefer to spend my money at a smaller locale. Enter Ghost Alley. The baristas were super friendly and patient with us while we decided on our caffeinated beverage of choice. I raved about the Salted Caramel Nut Latte [make it a double because, why not?] for the rest of the trip. It was strong, smooth and had a hint of sweetness that wasn’t overwhelming. This is a great spot for people-watching too, if that’s your thing.

Ghost Alley Espresso is a gem of a coffeehouse situated in a unique 1908 space: an old bathroom attendant’s room. Opened in 2012, this tiny space in Pike Place Market is a café that specialises in creative coffee drinks. Using coffee beans from a local roaster, Middle Fork Roasters, visitors can try unique beverages, such as the salted nut latte made with salted caramel and hazelnut; the sweet Lydia, which is chamomile, white chocolate, and espresso.

In a city like Seattle with a rich history of folklore and coffee, there’s no question that the two are eventually bound to meet. In quite possibly the most intriguing café in Seattle – and possibly the Northwest – patrons can get a glimpse of the city’s ghostly past and see a side of Seattle that not many get to see – all while sampling Seattle’s locally roasted coffee.

Stumbled upon this place while trying to find and make my contribution to the gum wall on our road trip from Texas to Seattle and so glad we did!

There was only one woman working the counter at the time and she was SUPER nice! She greeted us when we came in even though she was helping another customer. She also offered to answer any questions we had. I’m new to the coffee world and this made me feel so much more at ease. I visited quite a few coffee shops while in Seattle and not everyone asks that. I can’t count how many times I’ve not tried something new because I’m feel like I’m bothering the barista for asking questions. Ended up going with a cappuccino, sweet, and she offered to make it with brown sugar to help enhance the flavor. I took her up on it and I’m glad I did. It really brings out the flavor with out the sweet being overbearing.
